Links between Mohenjo-Daro and the "Burnt City" in Iran.

According to Dr.Kaveh Farrokh , an Iranian , in his website, cliams that a game board made gfrom ebony was discovered in an archaeological site in Iran. The site is called the :Burnt City" on account of it having been burnt down a few times in antiquity. The game board has serpentine engravings on it. Apparently ebony is unavailable in Iran. The nearest source is the Indus Valley city of Mohenjo-Daro. Here is the link :

Article on a Cylinder Seal owned by a Translator of the Indus Script.

I discovered this article in the archives of the Expedition Magazine (which is published by the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania). Please follow the link I have provided:http://www.penn.museum/expedition-back-issues/90-volumes-41-50/419--expedition-volume-48-number-1-spring-2006.html

The article is about a man who lived in Akkadia (Mesopotamia) who was a translator of Meluhhan seals (Harappa seals!?). The article is in pdf format.

News article on efforts to deicpher the Indus Script.

It appears that efforts to decipher the Indus Script is comes with political, nationalistic baggage. Please read this article found in: http://www.thenational.ae/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100107/REVIEW/701079994/1008
